Job summary

Hickory Village is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities and promote independence in a safe, nurturing environment.

The PCA will assist with ADLs, monitor health with the nursing team, help with meals and hydration, and ensure clean, safe living spaces while maintaining compassionate, patient care. A HS diploma or GED and 1 year in care are preferred, with CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare.
• HS diploma or GED (preferred).
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health and condition to nursing staff.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and feeding assistance as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean living areas and follow infection control protocols.
