Job summary

Magnolia Creek Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities, promoting independence and comfort. This role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and teamwork within a compassionate community.

The PCA will assist with ADLs, monitor health, and encourage resident engagement while upholding safety and infection control standards. A HS diploma or GED is preferred, with 1 year of care experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living or healthcare preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor health, report changes to nursing staff, and remind about medications.
• Foster companionship and engagement through activities and social events.
• Maintain safe, clean living areas and follow infection control protocols.
