Job summary

The Gardens of Hendersonville is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide direct care to residents, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, nurturing environment. This role emphasizes empathy, attention to detail, and promoting residents' dignity and independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, monitoring health, engaging residents in activities, and ensuring infection control and safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state‑approved PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
• Observe and report changes in health, behavior, and condition to nursing staff; assist with medication reminders.
