Job summary

Woodhaven Court is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities and promote a safe, nurturing environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, monitoring health, engaging residents in activities, and ensuring infection control and safety protocols are followed. A high school diploma or GED and PCA/CNA training are preferred; 1 year of related experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved PCA/CNA or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to residents, assisting with ADLs and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in health, behavior, and condition to the nursing team; assist with medication reminders.
