Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or 1–3 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years’ experience in long-term care.
• Licensed Administrator as required by state.
• Proven leadership and management skills in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent decision-making skills regarding finance and budgeting.
• Strong understanding of English, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Supports mission, vision, and goals; promotes culture and values.
• Directs overall management and control of property, residents, and financial assets.
• Recruits, hires, evaluates, coordinates, motivates, and supervises staff per policy.
• Ensures fair disciplinary actions and legal compliance.
• Develops administrative plans for responsibilities and supervision.
• Consults with department directors to improve services and fix issues.
• Protects residents’ rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Develops and manages budget with timely fiscal reports.
• Ensures educational requirements for management staff are met.
• Maintains property, safety, and compliance with regulations.
• Leads community outreach and referral development in aging and dementia care.
• Drives census, sales, and marketing plans; secures quality referrals.
