Job summary

Better Living in Wisconsin Dells is seeking a senior clinical leader to oversee the community's health services. You will manage nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote wellness for residents.

This on-site role requires active WI RN/LPN licensure, CPR/BLS, and proven leadership in long-term care. You will drive care planning, documentation accuracy, and cross-department collaboration to sustain safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in WI (or compact license).
• Experience leading nursing or clinical teams in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Lead the nursing and care team to ensure high-quality care delivery.
• Oversee resident assessments, care planning, medication management, and health monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations and standards.
• Serve as the clinical liaison for residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Develop and update individualized care plans based on resident needs and changes in condition.
• Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead quality assurance initiatives and participate in internal audits and surveys.
• Provide on-call support and respond to emergencies or changes in resident status.
• Mentor nursing staff and support retention efforts.
• Coordinate with other departments to support holistic resident care.
• Maintain infection control standards and a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned
