Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Everett, WA seeks an Executive Director to oversee all community operations, ensure high quality care, and maintain financial health. You will lead staff, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations while fostering excellent relationships with residents, families, and staff.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and regulatory knowledge, with the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent supervisory experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environment.
• Licensed Administrator in good standing per state requirements and/or meet applicable federal/state license requirements.
• Experience in progressive leadership in a senior living operation is required (hospitality can be a plus).
• Strong budget management, financial planning, and ability to monitor and optimize budgets.

Responsibilities

• On-site executive for all operations and primary contact for staff, residents, and stakeholders.
• Supervise and motivate all department directors, maintaining training and morale.
• Maintain high resident satisfaction through consistently high-quality services.
• Lead development and implementation of community sales and operations strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Understand care regulations and support the Resident Care Program with clinical collaboration.
• Manage budgets and cash flow, maintain accountability, and minimize variances.
• Provide leadership for staff and residents, proactively solving problems.
• Serve as main property contact for Cogir Senior Living corporate staff.
• Maintain policies, procedures, and licenses in line with laws and company policies.
• Review hiring, promotions, discipline, and terminations with a focus on retaining quality personnel.
• Oversee building grounds and property maintenance and conduct regular inspections.
