Job summary

Discovery Management Group, part of Discovery Senior Living, seeks an Administrator to lead an Assisted Living community's operations. You will plan, organize and ensure compliance with applicable laws while coordinating health care needs with the Health Care Coordinator.

The role requires an LPN or RN license, prior Assisted Living and supervisory experience, and strong computer skills to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with department heads on budgeting and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• LPN or RN license required.
• Prior Assisted Living experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Must meet state requirements for certified administrator.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, develops and leads the overall operation of Assisted Living in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Pre-move coordination of health care needs with Health Care Coordinator.
• Develops the Assisted Living's organizational structure and defines department head roles.
• Represents the health center to internal stakeholders, governmental agencies and the public.
• Collaborates with other department managers on care transitions and communication to ensure efficient operation.
• Assists in developing and administering the budget to forecast expenses and control costs.
• Ensures accurate financial records and reports are prepared and submitted to the Executive Director.
