Job summary

Pear Valley Senior Living - Central Point, OR is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to ensure safe medication delivery and support resident wellbeing. You will lead shift teams, mentor Care Partners, and participate in onboarding and training to uphold high standards of care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and compliance with state regulations, with a focus on resident-centered care in a vibrant senior living community.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with elders and families with empathy.
• English proficiency for residents and coworkers.
• Pass criminal background check and health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications and assist with self-administration as required by state law.
• Guide and support other Med Techs on shift.
• Lead Care Partners with kindness, accountability and collaboration.
• Interview and onboard new Care Partners and Med Techs.
• Provide orientation and ongoing training as needed.
• Coach team with Administrator and coordinate with RCC for scheduling.
• Supervise storage, distribution, and discontinuation of residents’ medications.
• Maintain compliance with Compass Senior Living policies and procedures.
