Job summary

Compass Senior Living in Medford, Oregon is seeking a Medication Technician/Med Passer to ensure safe delivery of medications and support elder residents within Growth and Wellness plans. You will lead Care Partners, guide shifts, and participate in staff interviews and orientations.

You will also train teammates, coordinate scheduling with the Administrator, and maintain compliant medication storage and administration practices across the community.

Qualifications

• Pass medication and assist with self-administration as required by state law.
• Lead and guide Care Partners and Med Techs on shift.
• Participate in interviewing and orienting new team members.
• Provide training and retraining as required by state regulations.
• Maintain storage, distribution, and discontinuation of residents’ medication.
• Comply with Compass Senior Living policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pass medication and assist with self-administration per state law.
• Guide and support the Med Techs on the shift.
• Lead Care Partners with kindness, accountability, and collaboration.
• Interview and orient new Care Partners and Med Techs.
• Provide training and retraining as required.
• Coordinate scheduling with RCC and Administrator.
• Maintain medication storage, distribution, and discontinuation.
