Job summary

Prestige Senior Living in Oregon is seeking a Medication Technician to provide medication services and direct resident care in a long-term care setting. You will support daily activities, assist with meals, and promote residents' dignity, independence and safety.

Qualifications

• One or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred or per state rules.
• Must hold state required medication pass certification or equivalent.
• Complete state required delegation/training and medication pass competency.
• Must have basic word processing skills and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of the medication room and medication services as directed by HSD.
• Administer and assist with self-administration of routine medications per orders.
• Maintain accurate medication/treatment records in each resident's chart.
• Coordinate with pharmacies for orders/refills and report incidents as required.
• Provide direct resident care while promoting dignity, independence and safety.
