Job summary

Compass Senior Living in Oregon is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to ensure safe and accurate medication delivery while supporting our Growth and Wellness plan for residents. You will be a shift leader, guiding Care Partners and Med Techs, while upholding state regulations and Compass policies.

You will participate in interviews, provide orientation and ongoing training, and collaborate with the Administrator and RCC on scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Pass medication and assist with self-administration as required by state law.
• Guide and support Med Techs on shift.
• Lead Care Partners as a role model of kindness and collaboration.
• Participate in interviewing new Care Partners and Med Techs.
• Provide orientation and training for staff as needed.
• Coach team members with the Administrator to improve performance.
• Collaborate with RCC and Administrator on scheduling.
• Oversee storage, distribution, and discontinuation of residents’ medications.
• Maintain compliance with Compass Senior Living policies and procedures.
