Cogir Senior Living in Tigard, Oregon seeks a compassionate Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to assist residents with prescribed medications and activities of daily living, following individualized care and treatment plans within a supportive care team.

Qualifications

• 12 months of experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting.
• Memory care experience and/or formal training preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
• Positive attitude with empathy and patience.
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications following individual care plans.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Promote independence and engage residents with life enrichment activities.
• Communicate openly with healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
