Job summary

Ciel Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to provide medication assistance and personal care to residents. You will document care, participate in narcotic counts, and ensure timely medication delivery in a compliant environment.

Responsibilities include vital signs, EHR documentation, and collaboration with the Health and Wellness Director and care team to support residents’ well-being and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Medication administration training/certification per state requirements.
• Must meet health requirements.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification per state requirements.
• CPR certification.
• Strong English reading/writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication assistance and personal care to residents.
• Document all care services per standards and ensure residents' needs are met.
• Participate in narcotic counts and document inventory.
• Administer medications per Rights of Medication Administration.
• Maintain clean and organized medication room and cart.
• Notify pharmacy for new medication orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Record vital signs and monitor resident condition as directed.
• Document changes in residents' condition in the EHR.
• Assist in creating and maintaining resident charts in EHR.
• Attend required staff meetings and training.
