Job summary

NuCare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to safely administer resident medications in line with physician orders and state regulations. You will document with MAR, monitor effects, and collaborate with nurses and pharmacists to maintain accuracy and resident safety.

This role includes assisting with ADLs, supporting nourishment and hydration, and keeping medication storage compliant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Medication Aide/Medication Technician certification.
• Experience in senior living preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and resident rights.
• Ability to follow physician orders and delegated nursing instructions.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per orders and policy.
• Document all medications administered in MAR and required systems.
• Monitor resident responses and report changes promptly to nurses.
• Assist with ADLs and promote nutrition, hydration, and well-being.
• Maintain accurate medication inventory and secure storage.
• Coordinate with pharmacy services and care team to ensure continuity.
• Conduct routine medication cart audits and counts.
