Job summary

CIEL Senior Living seeks a Medication Technician to provide medication assistance and personal care to residents, following company guidelines. This full-time role reports to the Health and Wellness Director and is hourly with on-site duties in Leesburg, FL.

You will maintain med carts, document care, and participate in audits while upholding HIPAA and compliance standards. Required are a high school diploma, 1-2 years’ experience, CNA certification, CPR, and ability to read and communicate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age and able to communicate clearly.
• Medication administration training/certification per state requirements.
• Must meet health requirements for employment.
• Experienced caregiver with CNA certification per state requirements.
• CPR certification is required, with proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication assistance and personal care to residents per guidelines.
• Complete documentation to ensure care services are delivered and resident needs are met.
• Participate in narcotic counts and maintain accurate inventory documentation.
• Administer medications as directed, following rights of medication administration.
• Keep medication room and cart clean and organized; assist with re-ordering medications.
• Record vital signs and monitor residents for responses to medications; report changes.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information; comply with HIPAA and policies.
