Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Medication Technician in Hastings, NE to support residents with daily medication needs and compassionate care. You will follow physician orders, use the eMAR system, and uphold Bickford’s care standards to preserve residents’ dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Active Medication Technician Certification or at least 1 year of senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to take additional training as required by state.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to learn and use the eMAR system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow resident MAR to dispense medications per physician orders.
• Follow Six Rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as needed.
• Demonstrate Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ on shift.
