Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to deliver safe, accurate medication care for residents. You will administer medications per orders, observe residents during passes, and document in MAR/TAR in real time, ensuring six rights and strict infection control.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Medication Administration certification is required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
