Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity. You will administer medications, follow the Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR, observe residents, and monitor symptoms.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong documentation and communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
