Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents with safety and dignity. You will document in MAR/TAR in real time, follow Six Rights, observe residents during passes, and monitor symptoms for relief under physician orders.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, infection control, and accurate record-keeping, with a focus on delivering compassionate care in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
