Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications safely, accurately, and with dignity. You will administer medications, document in MAR/TAR, and monitor residents for changes while adhering to Six Rights and infection control standards.

The role emphasizes careful observation, prompt reporting, and collaboration with care teams. Eligible candidates have a high school diploma, medication administration certs, CPR/First Aid, and strong

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Administration certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
