Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Delaware is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities for residents, including administering prescribed medications within the scope of practice.

The role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of policies, documenting resident status in the Daily Log, assisting with move-in transitions, coordinating with the HCD and nursing staff, and supporting a safe, respectful, and pleasant living environment.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must satisfactorily pass all medication cart audits assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within the established scope of practice.
• Maintain working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the position.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents involving residents to appropriate individuals (ex: HCD, RN/LPN, or ED).
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to all resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Communicate resident status and plans in the Daily Log.
