Job summary

Arvum Senior Living is looking for a dedicated Care Giver/Med Tech to support residents with hands-on care, daily living activities, and compassionate assistance in a safe, home-like environment. This role offers on-site shifts with full-time and part-time options, opportunities to grow, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will collaborate with nursing staff, observe residents for changes, document care, manage medications under supervision, and help maintain a clean, respectful living

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred
• First Aid Certification preferred
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care Giver: monitor residents, check on them throughout shift and assist with daily living activities.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and changes in resident condition.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Assist with continence management and maintain sanitation of resident areas.
• Serve and assist with meals; observe appetite or refusals.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas; practice hygiene standards.
• Help residents maintain independence, dignity and safety.
• Participate in activities with residents and assist with life enrichment.
• Medication Tech duties: review service plans, observe medications, document administration.
• Restock medication cart; maintain medication room and records.
• Count narcotics with nurse; follow refill processes and document accordingly.
• Take vital signs and report concerns to Nurse or Health Care Coordinator.
• Follow safety protocols and perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills

CPR Certification preferred

First Aid Certification preferred

Previous experience with seniors

CNA certification preferred

Education

High School diploma/GED
