Job summary

Arvum Senior Living is seeking Care Giver/Med Tech roles on-site to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a senior living environment. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health and safety, and maintain a clean, home-like setting for residents.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift; monitor residents and check on them.
• Observe and report symptoms and conditions; note changes in skin, behavior, alertness, weight, diet and participation in activities.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation of resident suites and restrooms.
• Serve and collect food trays; assist as needed and report refusals.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating).
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.
• Greet and assist residents, guests, family, and vendors; assist with resident laundry.

Education

High School diploma/GED

CNA certification preferred

CPR Certification preferred

First Aid Certification preferred
