Job summary

Arvum Senior Living in Iowa is seeking a dedicated Care Giver/Med Tech to provide hands-on care, support residents’ daily needs, and maintain a safe, home-like environment. Training is provided with no experience required for most positions.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents, document changes, and respond promptly to calls while upholding compassionate care standards and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift, checking on them throughout the shift.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition with documentation.
• Respond to calls and notify supervisors of increased care needs.
• Assist with continence management and meal service while maintaining sanitation.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and life enrichment activities.
