Job summary

Arvum Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Care Giver to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a safe, home-like environment. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, observing health changes, and communicating with the nursing team. Medication Tech duties entail administering/observing medications and maintaining charts.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required
• Must be 18 years of age
• CPR Certification preferred
• First Aid Certification preferred
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift; check on residents throughout the shift.
• Observe, report and document symptoms/conditions for changes in condition.
• Respond to resident call bells promptly; notify supervisor if increased care needed.
• Assist with continence management and meal service; ensure sanitation.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas; practice good hygiene.
• Support activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation) as instructed.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities; greet all visitors and team members.

Education

High School diploma/GED

Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
