Job summary

Brightondale Senior Living, a Silvercrest Community, seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical plant and grounds. You will collaborate with the director to set goals and execute strategies, and prepare apartments for showing and rent to prospective residents.

Ideal candidates have high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of maintenance/handyman experience in senior housing. Expect daytime hours, on-call rotation, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of maintenance or handyman experience in senior housing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical plant and grounds.
• Assist the director to set annual goals and implement strategies.
• Turn around apartments for showing and renting to prospective residents.
• Communicate scheduled maintenance proactively.
• Assist the department director with tasks as assigned.
