Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Arizona is hiring a Maintenance Technician to uphold the building’s structural integrity and promptly address maintenance issues. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and more to keep resident spaces safe and comfortable.

The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of maintenance or handyman experience in senior living or similar settings, plus a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of maintenance or handyman experience in senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; professional certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, and basic repairs.
• Repair vacated rooms promptly and prepare for new resident move-in.
• Maintain walls, floor coverings, doors, and woodwork in common areas.
• Monitor and manage maintenance supplies and equipment inventory.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.
• Coordinate with local inspectors and safety authorities as required.
