Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to care for the interior and exterior of our community grounds. You will follow policies set by the Director of Environmental Services and complete daily maintenance work orders to keep facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained.

The role requires English proficiency, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to read and follow written directions. This is a part-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (if over 18).
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Background clearances as required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, and repair equipment and property per work orders.
• Address daily maintenance requests including lighting, furniture, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
• Troubleshoot minor plumbing and electrical issues and obtain materials to repair.
• Plan interior/exterior painting and landscaping to keep grounds well kept and attractive.
