Qualifications

• Prior experience in building maintenance
• Plumbing, including design/mechanics of commodes, plumbing fixtures, drains, discharge lines, hot water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines, etc.

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Assistant provides ongoing preventative maintenance and resident assistance, building and grounds maintenance, troubleshooting maintenance problems and various related tasks as assigned.
• Performs most tasks independently with occasional assistance of outside vendor.
• Is available to respond to maintenance emergencies that may arise outside of regular working hours.
