Job summary

Wesley Living seeks a compassionate Maintenance Technician to perform general and advanced maintenance across our senior living communities in Dyersburg, Halls, and Tiptonville. Duties include electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work to keep homes safe, accessible, and well-maintained for residents.

This full-time role requires developing a preventive maintenance plan with the property manager, timely repairs, and after-hours availability.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required.
Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience.
HVAC certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

General Maintenance: perform routine repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
Unit Turns: prep vacant apartments for new residents, including painting and deep cleaning.
Preventative Maintenance: inspect common areas and mechanical rooms regularly.
Regulatory Compliance: maintain property to meet housing authority and HUD standards; follow fire codes and safety regulations.
Emergency Response: available for after-hours emergencies.
Resident Relations: interact with senior residents with patience and respect while performing repairs.
