Job summary

Heritage Senior Living's Lincoln Village Senior Living seeks a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee the community's maintenance, grounds, and systems, ensuring safety and compliance. You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate inspections.

The role requires on-call availability and strong organizational skills to manage records, budgets, and vendor relations while supporting residents in a safe, comfortable environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of maintenance experience involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or related building systems.
• Knowledge of fire, life-safety, building, and maintenance codes preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, safety information, and maintenance instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance issues.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections; coordinate outside service when needed.
• Monitor safety, regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
• Respond to resident/work orders promptly and communicate progress clearly.
• Coordinate with vendors and outside contractors for specialized repairs.
• Prepare apartments and community spaces for turnover and maintain common areas.
