Job summary

Heritage Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking a maintenance professional to oversee the physical plant and grounds. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect for needed repairs, and prepare living units for new Residents.

Responsibilities include advising the Executive Director on facility needs, scheduling routine duties, and coordinating with contractors for outside work while ensuring safety and compliance with guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication, including listening skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to plan and adapt to change.
• High school diploma or equivalent; clerical ability to keep departmental records.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and manages the physical plant and grounds.
• Inspects building and grounds to anticipate repairs.
• Prepares living units for new Residents.
• Advices Executive Director on physical plant needs.
• Schedules daily and routine duties and maintenance requests.
• Assists with bids for outside contract work.
