Harmony Gardens Assisted Living in Columbus, OH is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance team, ensuring safe, efficient, and well‑maintained facilities for residents and staff.

You will oversee building systems, preventive maintenance, and life-safety compliance, while managing budgets and vendor relationships. Strong leadership, maintenance expertise, and a commitment to service are essential, with on‑call responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance of building, grounds, and equipment.
• Perform routine inspections to identify repair and safety needs.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs for all facility systems.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and maintenance requests.
• Coordinate repairs and renovations with vendors and contractors.
• Monitor and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire alarm systems.
• Supervise maintenance personnel and outside contractors.
• Train staff on safety procedures and equipment use.
• Respond to resident maintenance concerns and maintain positive relations.
