Cedarhurst Senior Living in Missouri is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide, coordinate, and document resident care under physician orders and care plans. The LPN will supervise care staff and participate in safety initiatives, ensuring effective communication with residents, families and the medical team.

The role emphasizes compassionate, resident-centered care, adherence to regulations, and collaboration with leadership to optimize resident outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and a current state license for LPN or RN is required at all times.
• 1+ years of nursing experience preferred but new graduates are welcome.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EHR systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide services in accordance with nurse practice act and regulations.
• Oversee care staff direction and oversight with the Director of Nursing.
• Review and revise assessments and care plans at admission and changes.
• Administer and document medications following the five rights; observe for changes.
• Document observations and communicate with physicians, families, and leadership.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and scheduling medical appointments.
• Support safety initiatives, fall prevention, and effective communication.
