Job summary

Covenant Living on Mercer Island seeks a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, coordinate, assist and implement comprehensive recreational and volunteer programs for residents. You will work with the resident services director to facilitate social activities and coordinate community events.

The role requires experience with seniors, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to train a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with senior adults.
• Strong communication, organization, creativity, problem solving and teamwork.
• Ability to train and mentor a team.
• Design and implement life enrichment programs aligned with residents’ interests.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, assist and implement a full life enrichment program and volunteer program.
• Collaborate with the resident services director in planning, implementation and facilitation of social and recreational activities.
• Coordinate with other departments to plan events and resident council meetings.
• Update on-campus TV channel and newsletters; assist with monthly communications.
• Provide welcome/orientation to new residents and update care plans as needed.
