The role requires supervising kitchen staff, enforcing safety and sanitation, and coordinating with the Director of Operations. A high school diploma and ServSafe certification are expected; culinary training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years supervisory experience in food services.
• Specialized training in catering, food handling, and safety.
• Culinary school certificate or degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of multiple dining outlets (Bistro, Health Care, Independent Living).
• Ensure food temperatures are checked and recipes followed for quality.
• Schedule staff to cover all shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Monitor inventory and place orders within budget and safety standards.
• Train and supervise hourly kitchen staff; maintain high service levels.
