Job summary

Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated Cook for a 40-hour weekly schedule to support our care team. You will prepare high-quality meals for residents, plate dishes, and ensure meals meet therapeutic dietary orders.

Weekly pay at $25 an hour with benefits and opportunities for career advancement. The role emphasizes teamwork with dining staff, residents, and families in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Prior culinary experience required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions and supervise staff.
• Knowledge of dining service procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate resident meals according to therapeutic diets.
• Maintain proper serving temperature and visual appeal of food.
• Monitor nourishments, follow standardized recipes, and follow sanitation policies.
• Keep a clean, organized kitchen and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate effective communication with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Dining Services.
