Job summary
Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton is seeking a motivated Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare food according to standardized recipes, ensure safe serving temperatures, and maintain a clean, sanitary environment to support patient care.
The role requires reading and following dietary orders, attention to portion control, and adherence to sanitation policies. We offer weekly pay at 17.50/hour, holiday and overtime pay, and opportunities for career
Qualifications
- Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to lead and supervise personnel.
- Knowledge of dining service procedures, related laws and guidelines.
- Ability to maintain supplies, equipment, and work areas.
- Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
Responsibilities
- Follow therapeutic diets ordered by physicians.
- Ensure proper serving temperatures of food.
- Maintain visual appeal of food.
- Monitor daily nourishments and follow standardized recipes.
- Ensure proper portion control.
- Adhere to sanitation and storage policy and procedure.
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
