Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center is seeking a motivated cook to join the kitchen team at our North Easton facility. You will prepare food per standardized recipes, ensure safe serving temperatures, and maintain a clean, sanitary dining area focused on patient care.

The role involves handling therapeutic diets, monitoring nourishments, and contributing to a positive, efficient kitchen environment. Join our team and help deliver high-quality meals to residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
• Knowledge of dining service procedures, related laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ability to lead and supervise professional and non-professional personnel.
• Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and work areas.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Follow therapeutic diets ordered by physicians.
• Ensure proper serving temperature of food.
• Maintain visual appeal of food.
• Monitor daily nourishments and follow standardized recipes.
• Ensure proper portion control.
• Adhere to sanitation and storage policy and procedure.
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
