Trustwell Living at Bell Gardens Place is seeking a Lead Cook to oversee daily kitchen operations in a senior living setting. You will mentor staff, support menu execution, and ensure high-quality meals for residents and guests.

In this hands-on role, you will manage food prep, safety, inventory, and collaborate with front-of-house and leadership to deliver a seamless dining experience. 2-4 years of supervisory culinary experience and a passion for food and service are required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of culinary experience in a supervisory or lead cook role.
• Experience with large groups.
• Ability to read recipes, work in a team, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Strong leadership and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day back-of-house operations to ensure food quality, safety, and presentation standards
• Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to consistently deliver high-quality meals
• Assist with menu planning, food prep, and special events
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control in alignment with budget goals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment that meets all health codes
• Collaborate with front-of-house and leadership teams to ensure a seamless dining experience
• Support innovation in recipes, presentation, and resident satisfaction
