Job summary

Life Enriching Communities is seeking a service-oriented dining leader to oversee kitchen operations in a senior living setting. You will mentor staff, ensure high-quality meals, and maintain safety standards while coordinating with directors to provide excellent resident dining experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a Culinary Arts background, Serv Safe certification, and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in relevant facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and Culinary Arts training.
• Serv Safe Certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a continuing care retirement community, hospital, hotel, restaurant, or similar facility.
• HACCP training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations in absence of Director of Dining Services and Executive Chef.
• Prepare or supervise preparation of food using established procedures and recipes.
• Determine amounts of food and supplies needed using production systems.
• Ensure supplies and substitutions are available in time for prep.
• Set steam table and ensure proper serving in dining areas.
• Maintain food quality, temperature, and presentation.
• Follow HACCP and sanitation standards; logs and hygiene.
