Holiday by Atria - Golden Oaks in Yucaipa, CA is seeking a CPOOK to join our Dining Services team. You will prepare nutritious meals for residents, follow Holiday recipes, and help ensure a smooth, safe kitchen operation.

The role emphasizes portion control, sanitation, timely service, and resident satisfaction. We offer competitive hourly pay, paid holidays and PTO, health/dental/vision, a 401(k) plan, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in industry or full-service restaurant cooking.
• Ability to prepare and follow Holiday recipes.
• Effective communication in English and excellent customer service skills.
• General knowledge of and ability to conform to sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Basic Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious, appetizing, and attractive meals for residents following Holiday menus and recipes.
• Oversee preparation and set-up of serving carts for timely and attractively garnished meals.
• Follow food safety handling procedures and proper labeling, dating, and storing of food.
• Maintain logs for refrigerator, freezer and production sheets.
• Adhere to Holiday sanitation standards in all prep and serving areas.
• Focus on resident satisfaction and address food-related concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
