Job summary

SFCS seeks an experienced Interior Designer to join our Blue Bell, PA team. This mid-level role offers independence, ownership of significant project portions, and mentorship to junior designers.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of interior design experience and NCIDQ certification, with senior living experience preferred. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, plus SketchUp and visualization tools, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Interior Design from an accredited college or university.
• NCIDQ Certification is required.
• 8+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Senior living experience is strongly preferred; other relevant sectors will be considered.
• Ability to independently develop and execute design work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Revit; working knowledge of SketchUp and/or AutoCAD; familiarity with visualization tools such as Enscape/Lumion.

Responsibilities

• Develop thoughtful, creative design solutions responding to client goals, program requirements, budgets, schedules, and project vision.
• Independently develop and execute interior design work through multiple phases with minimal supervision.
• Lead and participate in programming, space planning, concept design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate finishes, FF&E, materials, and documentation; support procurement and installation as required.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, finish schedules, presentations, and other documentation; ensure code compliance and accessibility.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients; mentor junior designers; manage project deliverables and schedules.
