Job summary

Cedarhurst of Crown Point is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, manage laundry, and coordinate with maintenance to ensure facilities meet policy standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication with families, and adherence to infection control protocols. Training and ongoing education are encouraged to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, trash removal.
• Clean according to schedule in resident apartments, common areas, restrooms and offices.
• Collect and launder soiled linens per policy.
• Fold, sort and distribute clean laundry.
• Report supply/equipment needs and restock as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance and staff for repairs as needed.
• Communicate with residents' families about wellbeing.
