Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Crown Point, IN is seeking a Housekeeper who reports to the Maintenance Director. You will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors by performing housekeeping and laundry tasks throughout the community.

You will restock supplies, report repairs, and collaborate with maintenance while following established policies and procedures to promote resident well-being and a positive living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with digital tools and apps including Microsoft Office and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices.
• Perform cleaning on a scheduled basis (daily, weekly, monthly) across the community.
• Collect and launder soiled linens following health policies.
• Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry.
• Report supply and equipment needs to Supervisor and restock supplies.
• Collaborate with maintenance to report repairs and promote safety.
