Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain Community interiors and resident apartments in a clean, sanitary, and courteous manner. This role supports a warm living environment and requires attention to cleanliness and safety across community spaces.

Responsibilities include general housekeeping, laundry, and dining area support, with opportunities for advancement. Benefits include health and retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement where applicable.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping for the community and resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning entryways, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and apartments.
• Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed linens, and ensure linen stock in each apartment.
• Perform deep cleaning of apartments as needed with attention to carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures.
• Launder linens in provided facilities.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures.
