Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain the Community interior and resident apartments in a clean, sanitary, and courteous manner. You will help keep dining areas and common spaces orderly and safe, ensuring residents live in a comfortable environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, and following safety guidelines, with opportunities for training and advancement within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills are required.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping for the Community and resident apartments, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning common areas.
• Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed linens, and ensure adequate linen supplies.
• Provide deep cleaning of apartments as needed and pay attention to entry areas, carpets, plants, and fixtures.
• Launder linens by washing and drying in provided facilities.
• Follow Company sanitation and safety procedures.
• Greet residents and guests, take orders, serve meals, and reset tables after meals.
• Complete side work and assist with storage and perishable item handling.
