Job summary

Atria Senior Living is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain the community interior and resident apartments in a clean, sanitary, and courteous manner.

Responsibilities include housekeeping of common areas, linen service, and assisting with meal service and tray delivery as needed. Strong English communication and basic math are required, with attention to sanitation and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills required.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community interior, including residents' apartments, clean and sanitary.
• Provide housekeeping for common areas and individual apartments (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning).
• Launder linens and follow sanitation procedures.
• Serve residents at tables, take orders, serve meals and desserts.
• Return cart, assist with storage of perishable items, and assist with tray delivery if needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
