Job summary

Atria Senior Living is hiring for a Housekeeper/Server role in a senior living community. You will maintain clean resident apartments and common areas, perform dining service tasks, and ensure courteous, friendly service to residents and guests.

The position emphasizes sanitation, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks while following safety procedures. On-site work with benefits and a supportive team environment is provided.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping for the community and resident apartments.
• Vacuum, dust, clean entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and apartments.
• Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed linens, and ensure linen supplies.
• Provide deep cleaning of apartments as needed.
• Pay attention to entry area, carpets, plants, rails, windows, and light fixtures.
• Launder all linens.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Greet residents and guests at each table and serve beverages, cereals, and soups/salads.
• Review menu, take orders, and serve meals and desserts.
• Return cart to kitchen and store perishable items; deliver trays to rooms if needed.
• Bus and clear dishes; reset tables following sanitizing procedures.
• Complete side work (e.g., fill sugar holders, replenish creamers, clean coffeemaker).
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
